Cancelled - Florida Low Light IDPA Match has been cancelled

2007 IDPA Florida State Championship - Results

We started FWCDPC in January, 1997 and shot our first match in March, 1997.  Our club serves the Tampa Bay area of Florida.  We hold our matches on the second Sunday of each month at the Gun Craft range in Ruskin. Sign-in starts at 9:00 AM and the briefing is held at 9:30 AM. Matches usually last about three hours.

After safety, having a good time and learning to shoot better are the main goals of our IDPA style matches. We shoot courses of fire that we try to make relevant to self-defense shooters and use equipment suitable for everyday defensive carry.

We love new shooters. If you know some, bring them out. If they don't have the right equipment yet or don't have much experience, tell them to come anyway. We'll make a way for them to shoot.

The minimum age for a competitor at FWCDPC IDPA matches shall be 21 years. Exceptions will be made for military and sworn law enforcement personnel. An exception may also be made for persons aged 16 or greater, providing that (1) at least one parent is an active IDPA shooter classified as Marksman or higher and (2) that the parent is present on the firing line while their child is shooting.

We must, by IDPA rules, require that you join IDPA after your first trial match. IDPA dues are $35 yearly. If possible, please join through FWCDPC as we get a small commission from IDPA for signing up new members. This helps the club out.
